Why do I work in Libraries?
Libraries are a free resource available to anyone in the community. It severs its community in away that no where else does. Beyond focusing on literacy and circulation of book, libraries function as information access points and technology hubs in their communities. These services are available to anyone, no matter their social or economical status. Being able to provide this service to my community is why I believe they are a vital pillar in any community and why I work in the library.
